Things to Do in an 8-day tour to Sikkim

Itinerary for an 8-Day Sikkim tour
Day 1: NJP/Bagdogra to Pelling
You will be received from NJP/Bagdogra airport after the scheduled time of arrival and will be taken on a road trip to Pelling. In between the journey, there will be breaks for refreshments. You will be able to witness the varied sceneries during this road journey, which will just be the beginning of this wondrous and scintillating trip. By late afternoon, you will check into the hotel and will be left to rest for the later part of the evening and night. You can explore the nearby local areas and their cuisine.
Day 2: Pelling Sightseeing
After a heavy early morning breakfast, you will leave the hotel for sightseeing across Pelling. You will visit many famous sights like the Sky Walk, Pemayangtse monastery, the Rabdentse Ruins and the Rimbi Waterfalls. You shall return hotel by evening and will be left to relax the entire evening and night.
Day 3: Pelling to Gangtok
From Pelling, you shall have an early checkout for Gangtok. On your way to Gangtok, you will witness the Singshore Bridge and Khecheopalri Lake. You will reach Gangtok by evening and will check in at the hotel and you will get the whole evening and night to relax.
Day 4: Gangtok to Tsongmo lake & Baba Mandir visit
You will leave the hotel in the early hours of the morning after an early breakfast and will reach your location by road to Tsongmo Lake. After a while, you will leave for Baba Mandir. After visiting the mandir, you will return to hotel. Arrangements for lunch will be taken care of.
Optional Visit to Nathu La
You can visit Nathu La Pass, only if you have a permit. Arrangements for this will be beforehand to avoid any hassle. This visit is optional, but we recommend you visit this sight.
Day 5: Gangtok to Lachen
You will check out from the hotel at Gangtok in the morning after your morning meal for Lachen by road. This journey will be a scenic journey on the road and you will visit the very famous Singhik Viewpoint and Seven Sisters Waterfalls. You will reach Lachen by evening and will have your free time to relax.
Day 6: Lachen to Lachung via Gurudongmar.
After your early meal, you will leave for Lachung, after checking out from the hotel. On your way, we stop at Gurudongmar Lake and you check into your hotel room at Lachung.
Day 7: Lachung to Gangtok via Yumthang
The next morning, you check out from Lachung and head towards Gangtok. You visit the breathtaking Valley of Flowers, Yumthang Valley on your way to Gangtok and check into your hotel by evening. You are free to explore the Gangtok Market and the very popular MG Marg to buy souvenirs and see the local craftsmanship.
Day 8: Gangtok to NJP/Bagdogra
The next day you leave check out from the hotel and travel to NJP/Bagdogra airport to take your scheduled train/flight for your onward journey home.
